Attorney Kathryn Bissonnette

My practice has focused primarily in family law since 2012 when I was admitted to the bar. I am a trained mediator and collaborative lawyer and have helped many families navigate
the divorce process in a more dignified and peaceful way.

Throughout my practice of family law, I have always made it a priority to put the family first.To me this means: reducing conflict instead of exacerbating it, and helping parents focus on the needs and best interests of their children when making decisions. I am proud to be a part of a collaborative divorce group that values these same principles.

I am a Board Member for the Connecticut Council for Non-Adversarial Divorce, a member
of the Connecticut Bar Association, Family Law Section, and a member of the Hartford
County Bar Association. In 2018, I was selected as a SuperLawyers’ Rising Star, and in 2021 I was selected as a SuperLawyer. I have also served as special master in the Tolland Superior Court.
