Michael J. DiPiro is a US Navy veteran and a 1981 Cum Laude graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He passed the CPA exam in November of 1981 and he is the senior partner in the accounting firm of Guilmartin, DiPiro & Sokolowski, LLC. He has been a practicing accountant for thirty years. He has given many presentations to business, civic and professional organizations.

Mr. DiPiro has prepared many pension, business, and other valuations for marital dissolutions, buy/sell issues, forensic issues and estate and gift tax matters. He is a Certified Valuation Analyst and has attended numerous courses related to business valuations. He has testified in court on tax, pension and business valuation matters in Middlesex, Hartford and Tolland counties.

Mr. DiPiro is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and the Institute of Business Appraisers.

Mr. DiPiro is the past treasurer of Nutmeg Big Brothers/Big Sisters and The Quarry Ridge Men’s Club. He is a current board member and past president of the Middletown Kiwanis, a board of director’s member and past treasurer of Middlesex Community Technical College Foundation. He is a Commissioner, Chairperson and past Treasurer of the Middletown Downtown Business district. Mr. DiPiro coaches soccer and baseball in Middletown.
