Carlo Forzani has practiced family law in Connecticut since 1976 and is a nationally recognized expert in the field. Mr. Forzani has been listed in every edition of Best Lawyers in America since 1994, is listed in Martindale-Hubbell's Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, was recognized as one of the top lawyers in Connecticut by Connecticut magazine in 2001 and by Hartford magazine in 2004.

Mr. Forzani is a Fellow and Past President of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Past Chair of the Connecticut Bar Association Family Law Section, and a Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation. Mr. Forzani has been on the Board of Editors of the Connecticut Family Lawyer since its creation in 1986. He is the author of many articles on trial practice, negotiation skills, valuation of assets, and child custody. Mr. Forzani has chaired many seminars on family law, and is a frequent lecturer. From 1999 to 2001, Mr. Forzani served as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Collaborative Divorce Project at Yale University, a pilot project established to create a more constructive divorce process.

Mr. Forzani is an experienced litigator with trial experience throughout the courts of the State of Connecticut and in the Regional Family Trial Docket of Middletown. Mr. Forzani is also a trained mediator, and a member of the Connecticut Collaborative Divorce Lawyers.
