Collaborative
Divorce is an alternative to the adversarial divorce process
where professionals and the spouses or partners commit in writing to work
together to help the couple reach a divorce settlement out of
court which addresses the needs and interests of the couple and
their family.
First contact a member of CCDL and arrange for a
consultation. You can talk to your spouse or your
partner about the
process before or after your consultation and invite
your spouse or your partner to choose a lawyer from among the members of CCDL.
Once you have each selected your lawyers, you will
all meet to sign a Collaborative Divorce Agreement
committing to the no court process and begin collecting
the information you need to fashion a settlement that
works for you.
